PERMIT FOR IMPORT OF GERMPLASM/ TRANSGENICS/ MODIFIED ORGANISM (GMO’s) FOR RESEARCH PURPOSE UNDER THE PLANT QUARANTINE (Regulation of Import into India) ORDER, 2003
In accordance with provisions of clause 6(2) of the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003 issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), permission is hereby granted to import following consignment by air/sea/land herein specified as per following details and conditions:

IMPORTS FOR WHICH POST-ENTRY QUARANTINE / INSPECTION IS PRESCRIBED (1) The permit is not transferable and valid for one-time import. The permit number shall be quoted on the Phytosanitary certificate issued at the country of origin or re-export as the case may be.
